Babymoon: Part One

Babymoon, what's that you ask? Well really it's just a trip you take with your husband BEFORE the baby arrives. Although this isn't our last trip before the baby, it is our last trip alone! This trip was in the works before we found out we were pregnant, because we wanted to take a belated Anniversary Trip. BUT once we found out we were preggers, we knew we wanted to make the most of it.

So we took a long weekend and headed to Atlanta ( one of our favorite cities). We have been to Atlanta six times together and we can't get enough!

Friday Morning we left the puppies in the care of the in-laws, headed to a baby appointment (what better way to start a babymoon),  and then headed to Atlanta.

This time we stayed at the Omni Hotel Atlanta, we like this hotel, but we have stayed at nicer ones in Atlanta. We chose the Omni because it was connected to the Phillips Arena and we were going to a concert there Friday night.

So after we checked-in, we were STARVING and immediately headed to one of our favorite restaurants: Max Lager's
Our view at dinner.
And our AMAZING meals: Corey had steak and I had a buffalo burger, both were delicious!

After dinner we headed back to the hotel and got ready for the concert....oh the concert. For our one year anniversary I bought my sweet husband Taylor Swift tickets. Yup you read that correctly, I bought them for my husband. Corey is a huge T.Swift fan, and he has wanted to go see her live for as long as I can remember. And I must say we had a great time, she puts on a good show!

What you need to know when going to a Taylor Swift concert:
1. You need light up signs...there were hundreds of them!!
2. If it's the Red Tour, you should probably wear the color red.

3. Your ears will hurt from the loud screams of young girls...it's pretty amazing how loud they can get.

4. Take lots of pictures and videos.

5. Sing every song as loud as your can.
oh you know, just us with T.Swift....she was actually really close!

Once the concert was over, we walked back to the room, ordered room services (this momma-to-be was starving) and passed out!!

Next up: Days Two and Three of Babymoon
