Leon, was this crazy winter storm that just passed thru the south. Unfortunately most southern cities are not prepared, so hundreds of people were stranded in their cars, at school, and at work. (Please pray that all these people stay warm and get home to their loved ones safely!)
As for us, we LOVE the snow. We were lucky enough that we were able to leave work in plenty of time to get home before things got to crazy. Since all roads are closed, we are officially snowed in and making the best of it!! Hello Netflix marathons, and spending some quality time as a family of 3.
ALSO hello to Camden's first snow, I just can't get enough of it and neither can the puppies.
Before we got this beautiful snow, we got a ton of ice! Under all this snow, there is about an inch or so of ice....
I took the puppies out to play EARLY this morning...I couldn't resist, I was like a kid on Christmas morning.
Finally Corey and Camden woke up, so we got to go play outside as a family of three! AND I am pretty sure Corey just came outside with me because I wouldn't leave him alone. Can't wait until Camden is old enough to build snowmen and go sledding with me!

A Year in Review {2013}
A little late, but that seems to be my M.O. lately. 2013 was the best year of our life thus far and I am sad to see it go, but can not wait to see what 2014 has in store for us!!
In January, we announced that we were expecting! It was the biggest shock of our life but I wouldn't change it for the world.

In February, I safely made it into my second trimesters and we had an AWESOME gender reveal party where we found out that we were having a BOY!!

By March I was finally getting into the groove of things and felt like I had this pregnancy thing under control. I also learned a lot out about myself that month...
In April we celebrated my 24th birthday and went on a babymoon. It was our last trip as a family of two. We also put an offer in on a house we LOVED...eek!
May was super busy! I finished my first year of teaching and went to New York with my family. I FINALLY reached the third trimester (We were already counting down the days until we meet Camden.)
Then we took our annual family vacation with Corey's Family....and took the cheesiest pictures. LOL
Corey, I, and the bun-in-the oven also took some beautiful pregnancy photos, that are now hanging in his nursery.

In July we finally closed on the house that we LOVE, I gave a quick home tour, and I had two incredible baby showers.

In August,we welcomed our precious baby boy, Camden, into this world. We can read all about his birth story, here. Then Camden gave us the biggest scare of our life, he had an infection in his
belly button at just 17 days old and we were admitted into the hospital
for 2 days.
In a blink of an eye our sweet newborn turned into a baby...
We kept our "first" family tradition alive and went to the pumpkin patch as a threesome! I can't tell you how long I have been dreaming about this day.
In October, Camden got to experience his first REAL holiday, Halloween! We even did a little trick-or-treating.
We enjoyed our first football season as a family of three AND I must say it was a hell of a season. WAR DAMN EAGLE!
Speaking
of football Corey and I attended two of the most amazing games we will probably
ever see.

Next came Thanksgiving where we stuffed our bellies with too much food AND Camden had his first taste of real food...mashed potatoes.
We got to go visit Santa.
And even rocked matching PJs on Christmas Eve!
Christmas came and it went (everything seems to being happening soo much faster). We sported some festive attire, and loved every minutes of it. Camden had a wonderful first Christmas....this boy is SPOILED.
With all the exciting things that happened this year, it's hard to pick my favorite. Cheers to you, 2013, you blessed our family so much and we can not wait to see what 2014 holds!!
