Busy, Busy, Busy

This was such a busy weekend.
Friday I crafted. A Recipe box to be exact.
I will probably post on this later....

Saturday I had to work until four. Then Corey took me on a hot date for our monthiversary......Well actually he just wanted to go on a date, and then once we were out and about we realized that we have been married for a whole month. So we celebrated with a couple of drinks! I must say I really enjoyed our date, we went to a dinner and a movie. It was so nice just to have a evening to ourselves with no disctractions. And I have to give all the credit to Corey, because I didn't really want to go on a date.
I wanted to go to eat chili with Corey's family. I love to do anything family oriented. Since my family is so far away, I like to be involved with Corey's family. But I am grateful that Corey took the initiative and took me on a "hot date". It was a lot of fun and is something we need to make more time doing.

Sunday I had to work until four again and then we were suppose to make some homemade pizza....BUT Corey got sick so I just ended up making dinner for the two of us. And now I am taking care of my sickly hubster. Boys are so funny/pathetic. He is acting like this cold is the end of the world. But I don't mind taking care of him! While he sleeps, I get to watch my guild pleasure The Kardashians.

The Waiting Game

I am waiting somewhat impatiently. What am I waiting for you ask? I am waiting for my wedding pictures! I know, I know, I did not get  married that along ago...and I think it is suppose to take about four to six weeks to get them back. But my wonderful, awesome photographer posted a couple on facebook and now I want to see them all.


But in the mean time I had this adorable little man to keep me company. Here is what we have been up to the past few days!!

And I know I should be there with him, but you see I am not on a diet....so that doesn't sound very fun to me. Please quit stealing him twice a day from me.

Happy Day

UGH so as all of you know I dislike working at my part-time job. But today I heard some good news!

About two months ago I was offered a long-term substitute job for a first grade teacher who is having a baby. I was getting a little anxious because I had not heard from my principal since I left my internship. But good news he called today, AND I still have the job. She is due in about two weeks, and I can not wait!!!

Soooo I am sure you will be hearing a lot about my first grade babies and how my first "real" job goes. Even though it is not permanent,I can not wait to get my foot in the door. YAY for a step in the right direction.

The Puppy with No Name

Yup! We got a new puppy. He is precious and I love him already. But he doesn't have a name yet, usually we already know what we are going to name our pet family members, but this adoption happened so fast we didn't even have time to think of a name. ( sorry for the run-on sentence)
Here are a couple of my favorite pictures, there are not to many yet.....we have only had him for about three hours. But don't worry there will be plenty of more pictures to come!

I know what your thinking...

But it is not that kind of baby. Even though Corey and I have had about a million baby talks in the past couple of weeks, we have decided to wait about a two or so years. Two things we LOVE are traveling and enjoying each others company and we want to do a WHOLE lot more of that before we bring a little baby Sewell into the world. But don't let all of this "baby delay" talk fool you, when we do get pregos, we will both be over the moon.

Oh back to the reason of today's post!! We are getting a baby dog....also known as a puppy. Corey has been searching/looking for a dog for about the last three and half months now, he wants one so bad. Not to mention he is super picky when to comes to choosing the next member on our family. But he has finally found one he might like, so tomorrow we are going to look at two males. Maybe by this time tomorrow night we will have another little munchkin running around our house. I can't wait!
