So I am kind of bored with my own blog, and although I love blogging about this little man in my belly, I feel like I have gotten into a routine AND that's not what I want. Lately the only thing I blog about is this pregnancy SO today I will be venturing out into the land of love....awwww. Today I thought I would just ramble, the inspiration: a song. It might get a little mushy/gushy so feel free to skip this post if your not into that sort of thing.
Last week I had the opportunity to go to New York (more on that coming soon!) with the famjam, and on my way home I heard this song. I fell in love! I am not sure if it was the first time I had heard it, but it was the first time I stoped and listened to the lyrics AND something about this song hit home. It could have been because I hadn't seen the hubster in 7 days, or that I'm hormonal, or that I had been in the car for 3 hours. BUT whatever it was, it made the stop and think.
Here is what I am thinking....I am one lucky lady. Yup, if you think your husbands the best, well you sadly mistaken ladies because Corey holds that title. Seriously, I don't know how I got so lucky! We have been together for five years! AND that may not seem long to some people, but I can't believe how fast it flown by. AND how much my beloved husband has changed in that time, not only has he grown up before my eyes (physically) but he has also become such a great man...it makes me proud to be his partner in crime!
But back to the song, why this song....well it reminds me of when Corey and I first started dating....how we were inseparable and actually we still are. Corey never seems to surprise me with how much he loves me. Yes, he drives me crazy some day, we are a normal couple who have our disagreements AND some days he makes me want to pull my hair out.
BUT I will NEVER question how much he loves me, he picks me over anything (hobbies, friends, whatever). If Corey has the option to spend the afternoon with me or go fishing with a buddy, 99.9% he will pick me. AND that says a lot more than words or flowers.
Corey is also the kindest, most hard working guy I know. He can't say no, if you ask him for help, he is going to help. He would do anything for his family or friends. He also loves to work. Yup, he is one of those freaks who shows up to work 30 minutes early (everyday, it's obnoxious) and most days he comes home late. I am sorry I LOVE my job but Corey goes above and beyond the call of duty!
Enough with the mushy and gushy....here are some other things you don't know my hubster:
1. He LOVES the gym. Probably as much as he loves me...he literally goes twice a day (once during his lunch break and once after work).
2. He looks in the mirror more than I do...and I am a girl. If Corey passes a mirror he looks AND he is usually doing this....flexing!
3. He is funny and keeps me laughing all day long. He spouts random nonsense from his mouth and changes the words to EVERY song...usually making them inappropriate.
