Simply Sewell: House Tour: After Day One

Well we packed, move, and unpacked in the pouring rain AND had some amazing help. Here is what the house looked liked after one full day of unpacking. Also included a list of all the projects we want to accomplish...eventually.

The Foyer

Paint the Blue Walls

New Flooring

Possible "Mud Room" to the right of the Closet.

The Living Room

Hang the TV above the Mantle

New Furniture....wanted badly

Curtains for the Windows.

White-wash the Fireplace

Built-in Cabinets on each side of the Fireplace

Gas Logs? One day, Maybe.

The Kitchen

Paint the Walls

New Window Treatments

Paint the Cabinets

New Counter-tops
New Lighting

New Kitchen Table...I would love one with a bench, maybe like this.

New Appliances....in the distant future.

The Upstairs Hallways

Paint all ugly Wooden Doors white.
Paint Hand Rails going up the stairs.
Replace Door Handles.
Remove Carpet, new Flooring.

The Laundry Closet

Paint the inside, something Colorful and Festive.
Love to add Counter-top, like this.
Organize with Baskets and Labels
Pretty Artwork or Wall Decor.

The Guest Bedroom

~~Paint the Red Wall~~
~~Remove all Baby Stuff~~
~~Remove awkward placed shelves.~~
Add Furniture
DECORATE

The Nursery

This is the most finished room in the house..here is a little sneak peak. We still need too:
Recover the Glider
Hang Picture Frames
Hang Name above Crib
Organize the "Changing Station"
Get some kind of Window Treatment

The Hallway Bathroom

Has not been touched since we moved in, it might have some TP in there!
Somehow get the cabinets to match....maybe even remove cabinet above the toilet.
New Shower Curtain
New Tile?
Re-paint the Walls

The Master Bedroom

This is the only picture I have of the master after day one, fail.
This room needs:
New Carpet.
Repaint Walls.
Finally use our new Bedding.
Window Treatments.
